The new connector catalogue uses exact listed tube ODs and explicit manufacturer part codes. It does not select a nearby diameter or silently substitute another thread standard. Installation dimensions are in millimetres. The CAD bodies are simplified representations, not supplier CAD models or service approvals.

printed pages 5 (straight union), 9 (elbow) and 20 (tee). The drawings and tables
were visually checked. D is the body diameter; M is tube insertion from the
entrance. Each straight-union entrance is L/2 from its centre. For elbows and
tees, every entrance is L or L1 from the axis intersection. Tee L2 describes
the overall branch envelope, not its entrance offset.

The fully inserted pipe end is at entrance offset - M; no weld gap applies.
Socket bores represent nominal tube OD. Internal seals, collet details, moulded
transitions and undimensioned lug thicknesses are simplified.
Page 1 lists FEP, PFA, nylon, soft nylon and polyurethane tubing. Matching OD alone does not establish material, fluid, pressure or temperature suitability. Use the selected tube and fitting manufacturer’s operating limits.

| SMC base model | OD | ID | Wall, calculated | Minimum bending radius |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| TU0425 | 4 | 2.5 | 0.75 | 10 |
| TU0604 | 6 | 4 | 1 | 15 |
| TU0805 | 8 | 5 | 1.5 | 20 |
| TU1065 | 10 | 6.5 | 1.75 | 27 |
| TU1208 | 12 | 8 | 2 | 35 |
These are flexible polyurethane tubes. The published radius is a reference
measurement at 20 degrees C; it is not a calibrated CNC bending-tool CLR or a
promise that a routed sweep has been checked against pressure, kinking or
temperature limits. Colour and roll-length ordering suffixes are not implied by
the base model identifiers. Wall is (OD-ID)/2.

printed page 129 for type 8270, page 74 for pipe OD / thread correspondence, and
page 140 for the Z-dimension method. The product is a silicon-bronze coupling
with female Rp threads, mating to R male pipe threads (EN 10226-1 / ISO 7-1).
| Pipe OD | Rp size | Part code | Overall a | Wrench SW | Pipe-end Z | Mean insertion per end |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 13.5 | 1/4 inch | 768270002 | 26 | 17 | 6 | 10 |
| 17.2 | 3/8 inch | 768270003 | 28 | 20 | 8 | 10 |
| 21.3 | 1/2 inch | 768270004 | 34 | 25 | 8 | 13 |
| 26.9 | 3/4 inch | 768270005 | 37 | 30 | 7 | 15 |
| 33.7 | 1 inch | 768270006 | 43 | 38 | 9 | 17 |
The model uses reference insertion (a-Z)/2, not a fixed internal stop. Actual
thread engagement varies with threads and sealant; verify make-up before final
cutting. NPT is not substituted. The drawing shows round sleeves with a central
hex band. Its SW is sourced; hex circumdiameter is calculated. Undimensioned
sleeve diameters, band widths, collars and thread details remain simplified.
The smooth socket follows nominal pipe OD; its central passage uses the selected
pipe ID and is not claimed as the manufacturer’s internal flow bore.

PDF page 16 / printed 1.2.13 (L14AM #7, length and 316L item number), and
PDF page 9 / printed 1.1.6 (basic connection dimensions). Both pages were
visually checked. These rows describe a ferrule, not an assembled clamp union.
| Tube OD mm | Nominal size | 316L item | Length A mm | Face diameter, source inches | Face diameter, converted mm |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 25.4 | 1 inch | 240644 | 28.6 | 1.984 | 50.3936 |
| 38.1 | 1 1/2 inch | 240028 | 28.6 | 1.984 | 50.3936 |
| 50.8 | 2 inch | 240027 | 28.6 | 2.516 | 63.9064 |
The source specifies 16ga tube wall: 0.065in = 1.651mm. A different selected
tube wall is rejected. The clamp face is the placement origin; the one pipe-side
butt-weld end is 28.6mm from that plane, with zero insertion. An explicit weld
gap may be applied at the pipe end. The clamp face does not create a second
pipe-side weld.
Head shoulders and undimensioned groove details are simplified. Clamp, gasket and compressed seating gap are omitted. Exact inch conversion is retained; the displayed decimal digits do not imply manufacturing tolerances or a hygienic certification.
No helical thread, sealing mechanism, pressure certification, sanitary finish qualification, flexible-tube mechanics or flow calculation is generated by these catalogue entries. Placement and orientation do not change the stored part identity. Rebuild rejects changed catalogue interface dimensions under the same manufacturer code.
NPT couplings, threaded three-piece unions and complete sanitary clamp unions are not inferred from nominal sizes. The inspected sanitary catalogues do not provide a complete compressed gasket seating dimension for an assembled union. An imported manufacturer model can be captured with explicitly defined ports for products outside the built-in rows.
